Dr. Shaida Sina
Dr. Shadia Sina has over 30 years of experience working in the field of medicine. Her initial training began as a clinical scientist where she received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She then trained at Johns Hopkins Hospital Laboratory before working as a laboratory scientist focusing on chemistry, hematology, shock trauma, neonatal intensive care, and infectious diseases at the University of Maryland Medical Center for 12 years. Dr. Sina then began her doctorate studies in medicine in 1995 at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona. She completed her postdoctoral training in the field of environmental medicine with an emphasis on chemical and metal detoxification.
Dr. Sina was the first naturopathic medical student trained at Mayo Clinic in the area of infertility. She is the medical director of Breakthrough Medicine located in Cottonwood, AZ. Her clinical focus is on family practice with a special interest in GI health, cardiology, women’s and men’s longevity medicine, endocrinology, cognitive wellness, and environmental detox.
She is a referral physician for the Life Extension® Foundation, ForeverHealth Network™ and Suzanne Somers’ books: Breakthrough, Sexy Forever, and TOX-SICK From Toxic to Not Sick. Dr. Sina is also a referral provider for Dr. Isabella Wentz, author of Hashimoto’s Protocol.

Dr. Sina is a lifestyle specialist helping clients practice and maintain breathwork, proper diet and exercise. For those who participate in our yoga services, there is an organic kitchen and clean showers available.
